Manager for the Water Practice in the World Bank covering operations in West and Central Africa. He has extensive experience in the water and environmental services areas. He is well recognized for his leadership role in the sector and his wide-ranging knowledge of operational and policy work. Read more.
Dr. Osward Chanda
"Unlocking Opportunities of Sanitation Services in Africa"
OIC Director in the Water and Sanitation Department of the African Development Bank. A water and sanitation development expert with over twenty five years’ experience in infrastructure development and utility regulation for inclusive and sustainable services across the water and sanitation value chain. Full papers must be submitted until 31st March 2017. Selected papers will be published after the Conference as a book with hard cover. A template for full papers can be found here, size limit is 10 pages.
A technical visit is planned for May 11th, in the afternoon, to Alcantara Wastewater Treatment Plant located in the city, with an impressive roof garden, the largest in the Iberian Peninsula.
The Conference dinner will be held on Thursday, May 10th.
